The game is set in a synchronised shared world, compared to its predecessors’ Drivatar-based simulation. It features dynamic seasons that change every week. Players can purchase properties that unlock new race types, same-day delivery and Forzathon Live events.
The game includes more than 450 licensed cars. New types of cars were added such as Terrains, Porsches and SUVs. The game also features the Lego Speed Champions, based on the Lego line of the same name, which introduces fifteen fully-controllable vehicles from McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche, as well as Lego duplication abilities like gigantic bouncy blocks amongst others.
Three DLC packs were released alongside the base game; each adding new cars, routes and events. These are: Fortune Island (December 2018), which introduced extreme weather conditions; LEGO Speed Champions (June 2019), centred around Scalextric-style races; and Route Creator (September 2019), which allows players to create their own driving routes which can be shared with other players.

Forza Motorsport 7 is an upcoming racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios, scheduled to be released on October 3, 2017. It will be the tenth installment in the Forza series. Announced at the 2017 Electronic Entertainment Expo, forza motorsport 7 will feature over 700 cars—including Ferrari—and 200 different configurations to race on across 30 locations at launch. The game will also reportedly run atnative 4K resolution on the Xbox One X.

The game received positive reviews from critics, withIGN giving it a 9/10, saying “Forza Motorsport 7 is a triumph on every level” while GameSpot gave it an 8/10 stating “Forza Motorsport 7 is one of the most comprehensive racing games ever made”.
