First and foremost, make sure you have an active Game Pass subscription. If you don’t have one already, you can sign up for a free 14-day trial here. Once you have an active subscription, head over to the Microsoft Store and download Forza Horizon 5. The game will automatically be added to your library of games and will be available to play on October 24th at 12:01 AM Eastern Time.

What is Forza Horizon 5?
Forza Horizon 5 is an upcoming racing game developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios. It will be released on October 2, 2020, for Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
Forza Horizon 5 is a racing game set in an open world environment based on locations around the world. The game will feature dynamic seasons that change the landscape and affecting the driving conditions.

As an xbox game pass member, you can play forza horizon 5 as early as eight days before its worldwide launch on October 2. Here’s how:
If you’re an Xbox Game Pass member, you can pre-install Forza Horizon 5 starting September 24. To do so, simply navigate to the game in the Microsoft Store app on your Xbox One console or Windows 10 PC and select “Install.”
Once the game is installed, it will appear in your “Ready to install” section on your console. On PC, it will appear under My Games & Apps -> Ready to Install.
You can launch Forza Horizon 5 and start playing eight days early on October 2 by downloading and installing the Forza Horizon 5 demo from the Microsoft Store. Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition will be available for purchase worldwide on October 2. The Ultimate Edition includes four days of early access (September 28) and will be available for purchase worldwide on September 28.
