Hey all,

I've loved the FTC on Forza Motorsport 4, it really added a whole new layer to the experience for me. Then the Xbone came out, and FM5 was just a disappointment in the reviews and I hated a lot of the new philosophy behind some integral elements of that game. Now a good amount of time later, I've gotten myself an Xbone finally and have fallen in love with Forza Horizon 2, which surprisingly has all the familiar tuning options. And just last week Forza Motorsport 6 has been announced, and it sounds like it's going to be a true and proper followup to FM4, so I'm excited and hopeful.

Based on some reading it appears that Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon will settle in to a biannual release cycle, FM one year and FH the next, and repeat. Although it's possible FM will be on a tri-annual, so maybe there will be FM, FH, gap year, repeat. Anyway, I'm curious if FTC will continue being developed and updated for FM/FH? I'm hoping FM6 will bring a resurgence of serious fans that have been holding on to the FM4 gem and avoiding FM5.

+1
Good post.
The biggest problem for producing a good Tuning Calculator is to be able to get all the information and specs for each car.

That means if the people that develop the games would give up specs on the cars, the Calculators could be more accurate.
Slave Munky and his team worked hard to get the specs for each car.

Good luck in tuning.

Judging by the lack of Data in Forza 6, I doubt we'll be seeing a FTC for Forza 6......this really sucks.

Voice your concerns. the lack of vehicle details is unacceptable. for something you spent your hard earned money for, you should have access to your vehicle's specs. spread the word.

OH.... I have been, and its even worst with F6, they excluded displacement this time in the upgrades. Looks like the end of a great calc.

well displacement isn't exactly necessary for the FTC. it can live without it. however, I can see why they got rid of it.

its really unfair and unfortunately they wont do anything but make it worse and give you less unless you gather other like minded players and relentlessly demand and bring it to their attention. take it to their twitter and Facebook. keep bringing it up.

I'm not the one that needs it. it's you guys and the next generation of players that decide to make their own individual tuning calculators seeking a better and smarter way to tune rather than depending on the pseudophysics of incoherent "leaderboard" drivers.

keep me posted on whatever happens.
